“I have learned how to manage my own expectation.”
Kim had felt hopeful, full of anticipation, and a little naïve, thinking the grass would be greener on the other side. Now, she is much wiser and hip to the facts. As more and more changes occur, Kim adopted a go with the flow attitude. Even though she was disappointed, at her initial projected results, she has learned how to manage her own expectation and has become much wiser and open to testing new approaches.
“My entrepreneurial journey has helped evolve my relationship with change, and I have become more flexible.”
Kim has never liked change and has always been resistant to it. She is a type-A personality that thrives on everything being super organized even when she’s on vacation. However, her entrepreneurial journey has evolved her relationship with change and helped her to become more flexible. She is far from the “let’s wing it” perspective some of her friends enjoy and recognizes she must continue reflecting and reconciling her relationship with change.
Kim K. was interviewed for the ASPECTS OF CHANGE book and consented to share her experience. Many things have changed since the interview.
